This Privacy Policy explains how Hom Care Service (“Hom Care”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit homcareservice.com, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, request a quote, or book any of our home cleaning, repair, maintenance, pest control, painting or shifting services in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

We are the party responsible for your information. By using our website or services you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit personal information to us.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to quote for, deliver and follow up on your service:

• Contact details: name, mobile number, WhatsApp number and email address.
• Service address: area, building name, flat number, floor, landmarks and access notes (for example, guard or lift instructions).
• Job details: the service requested, home size, photos or videos you send of the job, preferred date and time, and special instructions.
• Payment records: amount paid, method (cash, bKash, Nagad, bank transfer), transaction reference and invoice details. We never ask for or store your PIN, OTP or full card number.
• Feedback: ratings, complaints, re-clean requests and messages you send about our work.
• Technical data: when you browse our website, basic device, browser, IP address and page-visit data may be recorded by our hosting provider and by cookies described in our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your information

• To prepare quotes, confirm bookings and schedule arrival windows.
• To send your team lead the address and access instructions needed to reach your home.
• To contact you about your booking, delays, rescheduling and follow-up care reminders (for example, AC servicing or water tank cleaning due dates).
• To handle payments, issue receipts and maintain accounting records.
• To investigate complaints, damage claims and re-clean requests.

4. When we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when necessary:

• With our own staff assigned to your job, limited to what they need to complete it.
• With service providers such as mobile financial service providers, SMS or messaging platforms, website hosting and accounting tools, who process data on our behalf.
• With authorities where required by law, court order or to protect the safety of our customers and staff.

5. Photos taken at your home

Our team leads may take before-and-after photos of work areas for quality control and dispute resolution. These photos focus on the surfaces or fittings worked on and avoid people, documents and personal items. We will never publish photos of your home on our website or social media without your written permission.

6. How long we keep information

Booking and payment records are kept for up to six years to meet accounting and tax requirements. Job photos are kept for 90 days unless linked to an open complaint. Messages and call notes are kept for as long as you remain an active customer and for 12 months afterwards. After these periods, information is deleted or anonymised.

7. How we protect information

Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it. Addresses are shared with field teams only for the day of the job. Our devices are password-protected and our accounts use two-step verification where available. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will inform you promptly if a breach is likely to affect you.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate details, such as an old address or number;
• delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons;
• stop sending you marketing messages.

9. Children

Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our website. If a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
